Iowa Cancer Consortium Grants

Each year, the Iowa Cancer Consortium Board of Directors releases an invitation for proposals for projects that support the goals, priorities, strategies and action steps in the Iowa Cancer Plan. The main – and largest – invitation for proposals (Iowa Cancer Plan Implementation Grants) is typically released each year in March.

Depending on available funding, the Consortium also releases a smaller invitation for boost grant proposals around November each year. These opportunities are open to the public and are intended to "boost" current comprehensive cancer control work in the state.

Consortium members are also eligible for occasional pre-packed initiatives such as sun-screen distributions, radon testing projects, and more. Information about becoming a Consortium member is available by clicking here.

Sign up for the Consortium's emails to receive announcements about these and other opportunities as soon as they become available.

Small Grants Program (FY19)

The Iowa Cancer Consortium and its partners are implementing the 2018-2022 Iowa Cancer Plan. We have two funding opportunities that are now open to members. The Consortium anticipates three to five grants at a maxiumum of $5,000 each and applicants may apply for both grant programs, but must do so with different projects. Please note: the deadline to submit a required letter of intent for this grant opportunity has passed.
