Ovarian Cancer
Ovarian cancer is cancer that forms in the tissues of one of the
ovaries. The ovaries are a pair of organs in the female

reproduction system. The ovaries form the ova, or eggs. Most ovarian cancers are either ovarian epithelial carcinomas or malignant germ cell tumors. Ovarian epithelial carcinomas begin in the ovary's surface cells. Malignant germ cell tumors begin in the egg's cells.
