Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma

Non-Hodgkin lymphoma includes a large group of cancers of the
lymphocytes. Lymphocytes are also called white blood cells. Lymphocytes are part of the
lymph system which is part of the
immune system. Non-Hodgkin lymphomas can occur at any age. They are often noticed because a person has larger than normal lymph nodes, a fever, and weight loss.
There are many types. These types can be divided into aggressive (fast-growing) and indolent (slow-growing) types. They can also be divided by having formed in B-cells or T-cells. Treatment depends on the kind of non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
