Lung Cancer
Lung cancer is one of the most common types of cancer in Iowa. It is a type of cancer that forms in tissues of the lung. It usually forms in the cells that line the air passages. There are two types of lung cancer: small cell and non-small cell. Within these two types, there are different kinds as well. To figure out which kind of cancer is present, a microscope is used to look at the cells.
