
Hodgkin Lymphoma
Hodgkin lymphoma is cancer of the
lymph system that is marked by the presence of a certain type of cell. This type of cell is called the reed-Sternberg cell. The lymph system is part of the body's
immune system. There are two major types of Hodgkin lymphoma. The two main types are classical Hodgkin lymphoma and nodular lymphocyte-predominant Hodgkin lymphoma. Hodgkin lymphoma is also called Hodgkin disease.
