Colorectal cancer is one of the most common cancers in Iowa. Colorectal cancer is also called colon and rectum cancer or CRC. It is a type of cancer that forms in the colon or rectum. The colon and rectum are part of the body's digestive system. The digestive system processes nutrients from food and helps get waste out of the body.
